Thank you for joining us virtually to raise funds for New Hope Blount County Children's Advocacy Center. As you may have noticed, we've changed things up for 2020 so we can stay connected while social distancing.
For a full week, the center will host a virtual fundraiser with a silent auction that includes a chef’s dinner for twelve at Dancing Bear Lodge & Appalachian Bistro with Chef Shelley Cooper, the Executive Chefat Dancing Bear’s bistro, and Chef Alex Gass from Walnut Kitchen.
Instead of purchasing tickets to the physical event, this year, New Hope is asking for donations to help meet the $25,000 goal of the Bacon at the Bear event. New Hope Children’s Advocacy Center provides forensic interviews, forensic medical exams, counseling and ongoing advocacy services for child victims of sexual abuse. The funds received each year from the event provide crucial services to children and their families. Donations can be made at BlountKids.org.
